Balpreet Singh Ahluwalia, one of our PIs, has been interviewed by Khono.no in the context of his recently granted ERC Proof of concept funding. The ERC grant was given to 55 projects in this round and corresponds to 150.000 Eur, aimed to help to “explore the commercial or societal potential of their research results”.
This time, the funding will help Balpreet with the commercialization of a chip that he and his team has been developing for several years. This chip enables super-resolution in conventional microscopes, reducing the overall costs for researchers.
