My research converges at the intersection of optical imaging, computational technique and bioimaging. In my current position, I am working as a work package leader in ERC-stg and ERC-PoC projects where my responsibility is to design the optical microscopy and the computational reconstruction algorithm.

Jean Claude Tinguely Senior Engineer

JCT is a senior researcher in the optics group with experience in integrated optics, micro- and nanofabrication, optical and electron microscopy and surface/colloidal chemistry. He is in charge of gases, chemical waste, safety training, and assists with procurements, shipments and lab management.

Yingying Qin got her PhD degree from Universite Paris-Saclay, France. She is currently working on the 3D recovery of the biological sample structure from the microscope images, based on wave scattering and photon transport theory.

As a researcher in the 3D nanoscopy group, my primary focus is on translational medicine, constantly striving to bridge the gap between research and societal impact. This principle drives me to engage in various innovative activities that facilitate the practical application of research findings. My work is situated at the nexus of biology, imaging physics, image analysis, and material science. I firmly believe that a multidisciplinary approach is essential for advancing both science and society.

as optical biopsy.
