During January 20 and 21, 3 members of the Optics group at UiT participated in the 2-day workshop given by You See Too at UiO in Oslo. During the workshop the participants learned about the open-source platform developed by You See Too: TheBox, a platform for building optical experiments using simple 3d-printed modules. The experiments went from simple telescopes to more complex systems such as a light sheet microscope.
One of the advantages of this system is the price tag. The kit used for this workshop has a market value of around 600 Euros and includes an array of cubes, lenses and a Raspberry Pi. More information in the website of You See Too (https://useetoo.org).
